Jan. 2008

Snow, snow and more snow!! Our little sledding hill / snow tunnel / snow cave has lasted five weeks so far, although it was almost ruined by a short warm spell. When not outside, the kids kept themselves busy playing with their new toys.

Arden spent an afternoon editing the first draft of her novel. The kids sledding "together". Sledding 'with Dad' ultimately turned into sledding 'on Dad', cold mittens on the face and all.

  • Those are all awesome -- I could make comments on every single one.

I'm very impressed that Arden can read/write Hebrew! Or is it Arabic? Whichever, right-to-left reading is darn good for someone her age. :)

  • Dude! What I am impressed with is that Dad has his hands in soapy dish water and he knows how to clean a pan!!! Who taught you that and can you teach Michael????

    :)

  • Glad you liked them. Arden is doing wonderfully with her Arabic. So well in fact that we are considering sending her to Syria for summer camp. ;-D

And Jamie, while I get the impression Michael is a smart & knowledgeable guy, I think he's more of a visual learner. With that said, he probably should get a few more years of observation under his belt before attempting pans on his own.

  • Please feel free to be his teacher and video away! :)

Oh and nice try to save your friend from your hardship...but I saw right through it! :)
