This month we went to LELWD's 100th anniversary open house and Rowan had the opportunity to go up 60 feet in a bucket truck and control the hydraulics on the way down. The Millbury fair offered a chance to rattle our bones and mingle with the carnies. And we finally have new neighbors next door and one is Arden's age and the other a bit younger. Instant playmates. The kitchen is now complete. If you look real close at the original flooring (to the right), you can see the gold glitter. Groovy.

May & June 2012

A relatively busy two months for all. We pulled up three sub-floors in the kitchen before laying down a new laminate floor. Rowan finished up another successful baseball season, although they didn't make it to the finals this year. Both kids had year-end performances at school before being cut loose for the summer. We also "adopted" a cat that had been hanging around the neighborhood for several months. Arden named him "Lucky" and he's a hunting machine.
