Har ho, Mateys!!! The kids went to a pirate-themed birthday party and brought back some loot. We also took a hike along Purgatory Chasm, located a few miles away.

The kids had a blast playing in the leaves. Grandpa Rog and Grandma Jude came for several days and had an enjoyable visit. And October wouldn't be complete without Halloween.
